What it is for

Before a renovation it is important not to overbuy and not to run short. Enter the room sizes and mark what you are doing — the workbook calculates rolls, cans, packs, meters and cost, and builds an estimate.

What is inside

  • “Rates”: roll and pack sizes, coverage of paint, primer, filler and adhesive, cutting allowance.
  • “Rooms”: up to 20 rooms with dimensions, windows, doors and work selections.
  • “Materials”: a shopping list with quantity, price and cost, plus a chart.
  • “Estimate”: materials, labor and a contingency for unexpected costs.

Who it is for

Homeowners doing or commissioning a renovation, contractors, interior designers and property managers.

What you get

An empty template and a filled-in sample with fictitious data, so you can see how the formulas and checks work. It is an Excel template built on ordinary formulas. All fixes and new versions of the project are free.

Compatibility

Excel 2007 and later, LibreOffice. No macros. Coverage rates and pack sizes are in the settings: check them against your materials. The calculation is indicative. The file is in English.
