What it is for

Do you want to remember what you have read and stick to the goal of "reading more"? The spreadsheet keeps a list of books, works out the status by itself, calculates reading speed, shows progress toward your yearly goal, a year-end forecast and the breakdown by month and genre.

What is inside

"Settings": year, yearly goal, genres.
"Books": up to 300 books: author, genre, pages, format, dates, rating; status, days and reading speed are calculated automatically.
"Summary": books and pages read, goal progress, forecast, average rating, by month and genre, and a chart.

What you get

The download includes a blank template and a filled-in sample with fictitious data, so you can see how the formulas and checks work. It is an Excel spreadsheet with ordinary formulas, not a specialized program. All fixes and new versions of the project are free.

Compatibility

Excel 2007 and later, LibreOffice. No macros. The file is in English. Intervals and thresholds are set in the settings: adjust them to suit yourself.
