What it is for

Workwear and PPE are issued all the time, and every item has its own replacement period. The spreadsheet calculates the next replacement date from the wear life, highlights what needs replacing and shows costs by department and the need for the next three months for ordering.

What is inside

  • "Settings": calculation date, warning N days ahead, cost period and departments.
  • "Reference lists": PPE with wear life and cost, a list of employees with positions and departments.
  • "Issue log": up to 500 issues — employee, PPE, date, quantity, next replacement date, traffic light and cost.

Questions and answers

Where do the wear lives come from?
From the PPE reference list: you enter the wear life in months for each item. The sample values are approximate; check them against the norms that apply to your occupations and working conditions.
What happens when the same PPE item is issued again?
The status is calculated from the latest issue, and earlier issues are marked "Replaced" so they do not create false overdue items.
How is the 3-month need calculated?
It is the number of units from the latest issues whose replacement date has arrived or will arrive within the next three months, multiplied by the price from the reference list.
How do I get a personal card?
On the "Personal card" sheet choose an employee from the list: all of their issues, replacement dates and the total appear automatically, and the sheet is ready to print.
